Rogue River Full Day adventure
Table Rock + Discovery Park + Nugget Falls
This is the best white water rafting and kayaking day trip on the Rogue. The day can be broken up in to four stages:
Stage One - Scenic Float: The excursion begins with a beautiful, peaceful float on the Rogue River, cruising by Upper and Lower Table Rock in your choice of a raft or inflatable kayak. The views of two of the largest mesas on the west coast are sure to astonish. Kayakers and rafters will get a feel for the river as we float by historical landmarks and wildlife (black tail deer, bald eagles, blue heron, river otters, beavers, & occasionally a jumping salmon or steelhead.)
Stage Two - Discovery Park: We stop for lunch at Rogue Discovery Park. The menu at the Discovery Park kitchen offers BBQ bento bowls, burgers, salmon, salads, gyros and much more. There is also wine, beer, seltzer and cider on tap. The park is an incredible place for kids (and adults) to play - There is trophy bass fishing on the lake, a giant floating jungle gym / waterslide, volleyball, corn hole, horseshoes and of course, hammocks for those looking to take it easy.
Stage Three - Scenic Float + White Water: After lunch we continue our descent down river. As we move further down river, the white water will gradually progress to some fun class II rapids such as Gold Ray Rapid, Lyman’s and Bitterman’s Falls.
Stage Four - Nugget Falls & Powerhouse: At this point we stow away the kayaks and get everyone in the rafts and trained up as a paddling crew. The grand finale of this epic day is class IV rafting on two of the Rogue River’s most thrilling rapids.

SAFETY: Safety is our number one concern. All of Jefferson State Outfitter’s guides have years of river experience and training under our belts. Most of us are locals who have a endured a few hundred trips. We know a thing or two because we’ve seen a thing or two, and we know this to be true: “Good Judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgment.” Luckily for you, we’ve already been through some misjudgment blunders, and we are still here to tell the tales. We look forward to sharing our stories and enjoying some good, safe fun on the river with you and your family.
